Work Hours (shift): Second shift 3pm to 11pm
Starting Salary: Depends on experience

Required Skills: Skilled job involving the use of the CNC machine, saws, drills, sander, and mill. Knowledge of tooling capabilities and applications for both CNC and machining. Prefer at least 3 years CNC experience. Physical requirements include the ability to bend, twist, stoop and reach, and lift materials up to 50 pounds. This is a non-exempt position.

Kapco Inc. is looking for a CNC Set Up Operator at our Osceola, Wisconsin area location. The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following:
Performs the daily running of the CNC machine, saws, drill, sander, and mill. Set tools, pick up zero points and run through new and repeat programs. Programs the CNC, when needed. Performs quality inspections on work and make adjustments to bring the parts and process in compliance with prints. , using the proper calibrated measuring devices correctly and completes quality records. Reads and interprets blueprints. Troubleshoots. Initiates action to prevent non-conformances, including shutting equipment down, when necessary. Follows established set-up sheets. Creates and changes setup sheets as needed. Cleans and maintains assigned area. Completes paperwork accurately and completely. Successfully completes Kapco’s forklift certification program, as required. May require Overhead Crane responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.
Communicate with suppliers or customers on quality and print related issues. Stop production to prevent non-conforming product from being produced. Coordinate employee actions for subordinates to include evaluations, discipline, training, testing, and career development, as needed. Promote and participate on continuous improvement teams, as needed. Other projects and duties as assigned.
