Kapco Inc. is looking for a Director of Engineering Services at our Grafton facility. The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following:
A skilled, professional position involving organization and administration skills in an Engineering discipline (secondary/advanced degree preferred). This role requires a successful track record of implementing change, identification and deployment of strategic initiatives and administration of technical support initiatives for manufacturing. Successful leadership experience in new product introductions, manufacturing engineering, tooling and/or quality functions required. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across multiple functional areas at all levels of the organization and the ability to execute and deliver against tight time schedules is desired. This is an exempt position.
Responsibilities: Directs and maintains technical, engineering functions in support of manufacturing operations. Identifies, develop and lead strategic initiatives in asset and process management to create and sustain manufacturing excellence. Balances demands of high quality, customer satisfaction, cost efficiency in capital equipment and value-add productivity while supporting safe operation standards for all stakeholders. Administrates daily support activities of technical support within Engineering, Tooling and Quality departments. Leads with integrity, consistent with values of Kapco Inc. to promote stability and continuous improvement. Participates in business planning and budgeting. Participates on improvement teams, as needed. Coordinates employee actions for subordinates to include evaluations, discipline, training, testing, and career development. Other duties as assigned.
