This is not your first welding rodeo. Not to brag, but you probably could set up welding projects with your helmet on backwards. Along with that, you have the ability to coach and teach others the right ways to become a better welder.

Required Experience: Six to Ten years ’experience in welding operations

Kapco Inc. is looking for a Welding Technician/Set Up person at our Milwaukee area location. The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following:
Set up and performs welding on all welding operations. Utilize blue prints for set-up and inspect parts to ensure Customer specifications are met. Train others to become skilled and proficient through all levels of welding. Perform quality checks using proper measuring devices during operation and completes quality records. Stop production when quality issues are detected, completes appropriate paperwork including labels, accurately and completely. May also perform routine PM’s on equipment and maintain a safe and orderly workplace. Successfully complete and maintain welding qualification for steel and aluminum welding. Successfully complete Kapco’s forklift training certification when required. Successfully complete Kapco’s crane training when required. Other duties assigned.
