Brief Synopsis of Job:
Skilled professional position involving machine repair management that required a minimum of 10 years’ experience in machine maintenance and repair. Knowledgeable in maintenance and operation Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) A minimum of five years of supervisory experience in an industrial environment is required. Physical requirements include the ability to bend twist, stoop and reach and lift materials up to 50 ponds. This is an exempt position.
Directs and maintains all machine maintenance and machine preventive maintenance (PMs), including machine toots located in tool rooms. Obtains quotes for new vs. cost to repair or replace worn parts. Identifies and acquires any controls, tools, equipment, resources and skills that are needed to achieve the required quality. Stops production to prevent non-conforming product manufacture. Promotes continuous improvement. Participates on improvement teams, as needed. Coordinates employee actions for subordinates to include evaluations, discipline, training testing and career development. Successfully complete Kapco’s Forklift and crane training and other duties as assigned.
