Precision metal stamping is the foundation of Kapco’s business.
For more than 50 years, precision metal stamping has been the foundation of Kapco’s business. It’s where our expertise was built, where we’ve continually invested, and where manufacturers across North America trust us to deliver complex, high-quality components at scale.
From simple brackets to large structural stampings, Kapco partners with customers to solve manufacturing challenges through engineering expertise, in-house tooling, advanced press technology, and disciplined production processes. Whether launching a new program or optimizing an existing one, our team is focused on delivering consistent quality, reliable performance, and long-term value.
Metal Stamping Processes
Progressive die Stamping
Progressive die stamping is the preferred solution for high-volume production requiring speed, precision, and repeatability. Multiple operations, including blanking, piercing, forming, bending, and coining, are performed within a single die as material advances through the press. Kapco engineers and optimizes progressive tooling for long-term performance, helping customers achieve lower per-part costs, consistent quality, and efficient production for demanding OEM applications.
Transfer die stamping
Transfer die stamping is ideal for larger, more complex components that require multiple forming operations or deeper draws than progressive tooling can accommodate. Our experienced engineering and tooling teams develop transfer die solutions that deliver precise, repeatable results for structural components used in industries such as automotive, agriculture, construction equipment, and off-the-road (OTR) applications.
Compound Die Stamping
Compound dies perform multiple cutting operations in a single press stroke, making them an excellent solution for flat components requiring exceptional dimensional accuracy and edge quality. Kapco’s precision tooling and disciplined quality systems help ensure consistent results for applications where tight tolerances and repeatability are critical.
Deep Draw Stamping
Deep draw stamping transforms flat sheet metal into complex three-dimensional shapes while maintaining material integrity and dimensional accuracy. Whether manufacturing enclosures, housings, or structural components, Kapco’s engineering expertise and process control help deliver high-quality deep drawn parts that meet demanding performance requirements.
